Hiroharu Morib. 1969

Lives and works in Yokohama Japan.
He studied at Tama Art University, Tokyo (1990-1994), Cranbrook Academy of Art, Michigan, USA (1998-2000), andthe Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA (2001-2004).
Since 1998 he has exhibited widely both internationally and in Japan, received a number of awards and undertaken residencies in Australia, USA, Germany, Poland and South Korea.His selected solo exhibitions include : Speech Rehearsals : students, housewives, politicians, Monash University Museum of Art, Caulfield, Australia, 2010 and Hiroharu Mori is detached from the outside world, Artspace, Sydney, 2007.He has participated in numerous group exhibitions include : Burn what you cannot steal, Gallery Nova, Zagreb, Croatia, 2012; Daydream Believer, Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, Tokyo, Japan, 2011; Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2009, Niigata, 2009; The City As a Stage, Royal Academy of Arts, London, 2008 and The 52nd International Art Exhibition, at the Venice Biennale in 2007
